This chapter was very gospel based which was very refreshing to just come back to Gods word. It was very cool how the author tied in the gospel to leading worship in the way he did. He explained how "The gospel is not merely one of many possible themes we can touch on as we come to worship God. It is the central and foundational theme” (130).
I loved this chapter because it taught me how to take my everyday bible reading and Christian studies and incorporate them into leading worship. It reminded me of the song Heart Of Worship and how we must not just say its all about God, but we must sing Gods gospel which I thought was very powerful.
